Andre has always loved knives. He has been making knives part-time since 2008, but after 2015 he decided to pursue his dream and is now doing it as his full-time job. Andre loves working with steel; his favourites are Damasteel, RWL, Elmax and N690. He also enjoys building both fixed-blade knives and liner-lock folding knives. Andre has an excellent eye for detail when designing his knives and uses exotic and exciting materials for his knife scales and handles. He firmly believes that the type of steel he uses for his knives needs to bring out the designs of the knives he spends time on.
Andre presents knifemaking courses for both fixed-blade knives and liner lock folders. Having him as your coach during a knifemaking course will ensure you have a quality training experience and learn the skills to create exceptional knives.
