The Chihuahua (or Spanish: Chihuahueño) is a Mexican breed of toy dog. It is named for the Mexican state of Chihuahua and is among the smallest of all dog breeds. Chihuahuas are lively and alert, bold, confident, and devoted to their owners. These tiny dogs have a naturally high energy level.
