Early in the year 1980 a small group of friends sat down to plan how to harness their combined talents in a creative and profitable way. The group grew to 25 members and on 7 July 1980, Koljander had dropped its seed.
For more than 30 years Koljander has built up a reputation for traditional South African home baking and uniquely hand crafted gifts.
We are the largest co-operative Home Industry in South Africa and have been honored with numerous awards and prizes – not least having been voted as the “Best Home Industry in Johannesburg” for the 13th time!
