Our Strategy
Our eMarketing Strategy

At Webo we understand that Goals without Tried and Tested Implementation Strategies are Wish Lists. Set out below is our Implementation Strategy. It works, but, only if you do it!

Step 1: Delight and Segment Your Customers
As your appointed eMarketing Agency, we will segment your customer list to ensure that the questions posed in our Agile surveys are relevant. Our experience shows that a few well-structured questions can reveal customer desires, opening the door to sales.

Step 2: Engage
We will provide every customer with a private online account to house reviews, coupons, and rewards. Customers will be invited to for information, deals, classifieds, and email alerts for specific locations and products or services. When you know what they want, you can give it to them—it's that simple!

Step 3: Excite
Incentivize customers with rewards tailored to each segment, encouraging them to buy more
frequently with deals and coupons.

Step 4: Retain
Reward frequent buyers with coupons and points. Build relationships through
events and information. In a collective marketplace, encourage sellers to
consolidate points so customers can earn desired rewards faster.

Step 5: Grow
Encourage customers to write reviews to enhance your reputation.
Reward social media sharing and reviews with valuable content.
We will discuss options with sellers, including gamification,
two-way referral rewards, status sharing, and access to a pool
of free eBooks from Webo. Additionally, customers can register their needs in their
online loyalty accounts and receive email alerts about new information, deals, and
classifieds by location and category.

Keep your Customers and Build Your Brand

Unlike other marketplaces that require suppliers to give up their customers, Webo operates differently. For example, Uber owns no taxis but controls the taxi drivers' customers. Similarly, platforms like Makro and Takealot act as online stores that receive payments and own the customers for the products they sell.

Important Note:  On the Webo Marketplace, sellers operate under their own name, and payments from buyers are deposited directly into their bank accounts. Webo simply provides the software that enables them to trade on the marketplace.

At Webo, we believe that sellers should have the freedom to delight, excite, retain, and grow their customer base. Buyers, on the other hand, should be able to register their needs and be informed when their demand attracts supply. This process effectively matches buyer demand (pull) with seller supply (push).

Buyers are aware of all the benefits offered by the products from marketplace sellers. The growth of marketplaces selling third-party products is a natural evolution from traditional market supply dynamics.

Sellers can link to their online “Deals Pages” from free product showcases or galleries on Webo Marketplaces. Additionally, Webo offers free business listings or Biz pages. We charge for using our toolset to help SMEs excite, retain, and grow. We are happy to create or use existing logo artwork, product galleries, reviews, and opt-in customer lists.

We feature Deals Pages on relevant and available platforms like Whats Good Pocket Advisors, Loco, and Nook Marketplaces. These Deals Pages are hosted on independent landing pages with a URL, allowing you to link to them in your emails, flyers, in-store posters, etc. We also offer custom URLs for a one-time annual charge.
