Success at Any Age and Any Level
At Kumon, our Maths and English programs help children of all ages and levels become eager, independent self-learners. Unlike tutoring sessions, Kumon helps children learn how to learn on their own, and develops strong academic skills. Our students gain a sense of confidence that will help them in the classroom and beyond.
At the study centre, the Instructor will observe and assess each child at work. Students must display a good level of fluency and accuracy and take an achievement test.
Working every day is indeed a commitment that requires dedication and perseverance, even if the daily amount of work is quite small. We take this approach because working little and often is simply more effective for the student than having longer study sessions - they will learn more efficiently, have less time to forget things and make stronger progress.
The Centre is run by Lesley Mackenzie. We are open on a Tuesday and Friday from 2pm to 5pm.We operate from Crawford Preparatory School FOURWAYS.
