PJ Aviation cc, founded in 1993 by Peter How, first began trading under the name Composite Technologies, and made a name for itself as a leading distributor in Southern Africa for a wide range of products ranging from avionics to composite aircraft. During this time we have accumulated a wealth of information and experience in the following fields:
- Audio communication devices for noisy environments such as in defence, air traffic control, airport apron movements, heavy industry, mining, motor racing and rescue services.
- Radio equipment, primarily in the VHF aircraft band for professional and light aviation.
- Avionics, including flight computers, engine monitoring, EFIS and flight recorders.
- Marine electronic equipment.
In 2009 we reverted to trading under our original name, PJ Aviation cc and moved our main office away from Gauteng to the center of the country, where we have a quiet environment and excellent communications. To expedite deliveries, we established a small office and store on the east Rand.
From our new establishment, we can reach any part of the country within one day, by air or road.
We provide technical support for all our products and also provide services, inspections and repairs under the Aero Club/RAASA Approved Persons scheme.
For those interested in gliding, we are also the co-founders of Adamsfontein Flying Club, one of South Africa’s best venues for high performance soaring across the Karoo.
