Century Avionics is a general aviation avionics organisation, based for your convenience, at Lanseria International Airport for the past 38 years. We offer a wide range of avionics solutions from the most basic communication systems to the more sophisticated glass cockpit solutions for most general aviation platforms for both local and foreign aircraft. Our AMO is approved for South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe registered aircraft, which makes the approval of the avionics installation hassle free.
With a reputation for excellent service pride ourselves in offering excellent customer service through our sales, technical support, installations & maintenance on a wide variety of avionics brands. Our dealerships include Garmin, Honeywell, Avidyne, McMurdo ELT, and Genesys Aerosystems Autopilot to name a few, enabling us to provide a one stop avionics solution.
We provide sales and support services for various portable GPS units, including Garmin aera 500, aera 660, GPSMAP 695, aera 795, D2 Bravo and D2 Bravo Titanium watches; two way portable communication systems and headsets, including Bose, David Clark, Lightspeed and AKG.
Century Avionics provides post-installation training to ensure that our customers are trained and proficient with their newly installed avionics equipment prior to taking delivery of their aircraft.
Century NAVCOM, a subsidiary of Century Avionics, is our SACAA approved Design Organisation. Along with our qualified and experienced Certification Department, our DO is willing and able to develop and assist with Avionics STC’s Application/Development and/or Modification Approvals with ease.
We also currently provide a full Support Service for customers enquiring about Information Services, NAVData, Jeppesen Services, Subscriptions, Website Services, Tablet Devices (for Apple and Android platforms), Programs and Software updating for the various devices we sell & support.
One area currently under development for 2017 is our Training Department with the idea of providing all our new and existing customers with various levels of formal training, information services and new developments on devices they purchased either recently or even a while ago.
