Neil Cooper
Neil’s Aviation passion started with flying paragliders in the early 90’s and he was one of the founders of Fly Xtreme paragliding club that was the heart of the sport in the Free State province. Soon this love for flying rolled over into flying trikes and eventually LSA aircraft.
Neil was the driving force behind getting the Sonex name turned into a household name in the LSA market and through his dedication and efforts the agency for Sonex, the product was obtained for the African continent.
Neil works as a Senior Facilities Manager for Old Mutual during normal working hours but the thoughts and dreams about aircraft is never far from his mind.
Dirk Coetzee
Dirk grew up watching Neil and other paragliding pilots take to the skies and it was just a matter of time before he started flying himself.
After school he worked as a test pilot for a paragliding company in Israel for a few years and is still very involved as an instructor for the sport.
After his return to SA he started studies for his commercial pilot’s license, which he obtained it in 2007. He has flown for various companies both locally and abroad. You will currently find him flying the bright orange planes of Mango Airlines across the skies. Dirk truly lives, eats and sleeps aviation.
