AdVenture Airwas formed in November 2010 when an opportunity arose at Wonderboom airport to purchase a non-operational aircraft painting facility at Hangar 49. The facility was completely refurbished and equipped with start of the electrostatic spraying equipment. Using our experience as best-in-class supplier to the automotive industry in painting and our high quality standards, the business has grown substantially since operations began in January 2011.
An automotive spray booth was added by AdVenture Air in March 2011 to allow same-day delivery on smaller panel painting.
In June 2011, AdVenture Air negotiated and took over the company Flying Cushion. Flying Cushion has been in the business of aircraft interior refurbishment for some 12 years and built up an enviable international reputation for quality and service.
Major expansion began in April 2012, with the addition of a 3 000M² hangar to house air craft assembly piston engine maintenance and metal work. A purpose built wash bay has also been constructed. Completion of the new facilities at AdVenture Air will be June 2012.
In May 2012, AdVenture Air took over another interior refurbishment business at Wonderboom airport, becoming the only interior trimming and refurbishment operation at the airport.
AdVenture Air is now in a position to offer the aircraft industry a complete high-quality, top class aircraft refurbishment and assembly service for small to medium sized aircraft.

We offer a full wash, polish and valet service. Customers can relax in our lounge equipped with DSTV and Wi-Fi whilst the aircraft is cleaned. Alternatively we offer a mobile valet service for your convenience.
