Welcome to Complete Cyclist, an emerging group of concept bicycle stores whose aim is to provide you, the cycling enthusiast with great service, the right bikes and gear at a convenient shopping destination.
We're all about "Love the ride, live the Lifestyle". For some "Love the ride" means a week-end MTB ride with mates at the local cycle park. For others it's the daily 4:30 am ride before work with somebig miles on the week-end all in preparation for the next big race. The same theme applies to the Lifestyle. We get it.
We cater for all types of cyclists (from beginners to elite) and across all the major disciplines (road, mountain bike, BMX, track and triathlon) so whether it's a one-off custom spec bike or just a kiddie's bike you're looking for, we have the right solution for you.
At Complete Cyclist, we understand that service is the only real differentiator so we really go to every effort to make sure that our teams are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We don't want to be the biggest store in town, just the best.
Our bikes and gear are carefully selected from local and international suppliers to provide you with the best options. We visit the major international cycle trade shows each year to make sure we are well informed of latest developments in the industry and know that our customers are getting the best products. BH Bikes, Corima, Colnago and Cube are just a few of the premium brandsthat we stock.
We currently have two stores in operation, one in Bryanston, Johannesburg and the other in Hout Bay, Cape Town. Both of these stores are conveniently situated and easy to find each with ample parking right next to the shop.

2011
|
September marked the official opening of our second Store - Complete Cyclist Hout Bay. Once again, the store has filled a much needed gap in the area and will no doubt be a hit with customers in the area.

Our sponsorship of Team Medscheme with BH and Corima continued and they were dominant as ever, again winning the Argus, Amashova and 94.7.

2010
|
October was the official opening of Complete Cyclist's first retail store in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The store filled a much needed gap in the area and has been an instant hit with customers.

2009
|
Sponsorship was taken to the next level with Malcolm Lange's Team Medscheme riding BH and Corima. The team stamped its authority on the pro cycling scene and were the first team to win the Argus, the Amashova and the 94.7 all in the same year.

|
|
In 2009, we realised that there was a need for more retail stores offering customers exclusive brands and better service than some of the bike shops were providing. BH Bikes SA was renamed Complete Cyclist and the retail business was formed. The distribution business was separated and moved to New ERA Solutions,now trading as New ERA Distribution.

We also started our own club and racing team that had instant success. Our black and yellow kit can easily be seen at most of the major cycling events.

2008
|
Saw our first small sponsorship of BH Bikes to the Supercycling Cycling Academy.

2007
|
Mike Hewan joined Scott and Jerry as the hobby started to turn into a business. At the same time the agencies for Corima (hand-made French carbon wheels) and Etxeondo (Boutique Spanish Cycling clothing) brands were secured.

2006
|
Jeremy Tindall and Scott McKenzie teamed up and began importing BH Bikes from Spain. The company was originally called BH Bikes SA and it really started out as a hobby and a way to "Love the Ride, live the Lifestyle".
