The venue is owned by St Benedict's - one of the top independent boys school in Johannesburg. St Benedict's is one of the few schools in the country that has its own Leadership and Conference Centre and the school uses the venue extensively for academic camps, leadership camps and religious retreats.
Since 2010, after extensive alterations, the venue has been opened for use by other schools and groups.
