Nestled in the farmlands of Lilyvale,Benoni,Mathakheni Village is on a plot boasting 3 thatched rondavels for accommodation,spa,thatched function venue and an organic vegetable and herb garden that supplies fresh produce to the kitchen and the spa.
We are ETEYA(Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur of the year award semi finalist 2011/2012 in Gauteng.
We cater for weddings,conferences buffet lunches, etc for a maximum of 200 people in our Eco Friendly venue.The open garden is used for outdoor functions such as garden weddings.
Meals are prepared using freshorganic herbs grown in the garden.
We breed indeginous chickens on the plot for eggs we serve for breakfast and serve treats such as dombolo,papa,morogo,mashonzha,umleqwa,herbal iced teas and more.
