Kniff un Gaffel was a semi-finalist for the AA Accommodation Awards. The guest house was originally built before 1900. This old plot house is restored to its original beauty so that the guests can experience South African style and hospitality. There are permanent guest that already stayed here for more than seven years, as Kniff un Gaffel is delightfully different and combines an atmosphere of old world charm with a unique modern style. Our slogan is: "home away from home".
The 23 stylish decor en-suite rooms are with private entrances, safe surroundings and secure parking. Each room has TV, bar fridge, air-conditioners and tea/coffee facilities. When sharing, we can accommodate groups of 46 people. Our function/conference training venue, is fully equip with a DVD system, proxima, surround sound, big screen, Wi-Fi and white boards, can accommodate 60 cinema seating or up to 40 conference/dining style seating.
Kniff un Gaffel Guest House is near all the centre city hospitals, Pretoria centre, Hatfield and university campuses and easily accessible from major main routes: Johannesburg/Polokwane (N1 Stormvoël turn-off) Pretoria/Witbank (N4) 52 kilometres from OR Tambo International (R21).
