Arranging a funeral
The following documents and particulars will be required with the arrangement of a funeral/cremation service.
Identity document of the deceased and family member
Funeral policies covering the deceased
A set of clothes if necessary
Particulars of the doctor who last attended the deceased
Particulars of the church as well as minister who will conduct the service.
Names of pallbearers in needed
Photo for hymn sheet.
If deceased was a mine worker, his/her buro number.
Our service include the following
Obtaining the necessary doctor's certificate
Registration of death
Arranging with minister, organist and sexton
Arranging of our chapel if needed (Seats 75 - 85 people)
Placing of funeral notice
Compiling and printing of hymn sheets and bookmarks
Arranging with the authorities for a grave or cremation
Arranging of the coffin spray and church flowers
Supplying of coffin as selected by family, vehicles and equipment
Erection of a memorial as selected by family
