MR HOOKS, founded in 1996 by a découpeur, is a home business. Manufacturing waterbased acrylics & speciality products for different types of crafts. We have a reputation for producing quality sealers & varnishes which are specifically formulated to suit crafters & traditional découpeurs. (Those that are studying the Art of Decoupage.)Tthe products are formulated by someone who has experience in industrial water based coating. He has fine tuned these products to accommodate Lorraine when doing different exams, which has enabled her to pass the individual catergory and achieve getting 3 Protea Awards.
Our unique range offers many advantages over conventional systems & can be used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, ceramic, glass, fabric & even candles. Features include excellent flow, brush or spray application, good durability & exceptional clarity over black backgrounds.
MR HOOKS has also developed a unique crackle system which is stable & not subject to post cracking with age or heat.
