The Inky Shop is a leading retailer of printer cartridges offering our own Inky Cartridge brand of inkjet and toner cartridges, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges, a high quality inkjet cartridge refilling process and other supplementary or additional products and services.
We aim to give our customers an array of quality solutions for their printing needs. The Inky Shop has strong relationships with its stable of internationally recognised suppliers, from which individual stock-lines are carefully selected and scrutinised for quality and reliability. Background and History
InkTec SA started operations in 1999 as a small, Durban-based company.
Over the first three years of operation, the company had a significant facelift with regard to shareholding and market positioning. We developed into a major player in the Southern African printing consumables market and gained invaluable knowledge of the market and industry. By 2002, our Durban based distributorship of predominantly refill kits to home-based dealers, had evolved into a Johannesburg based company offering solutions to almost all printing needs, and had expanded into a larger and more diverse market spanning across Southern Africa.
The Inky Shop Franchise was launched in 2002. Through this concept we strive to offer the complete “printing solution” - a concept particularly well received by the market. The Inky Shop Trust was subsequently formed and fulfils the function of franchisor via its various regional offices in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Western Cape.
