WHAT WE STAND FOR
Harmless House is an online store that was started with the vision of making quality organic, cruelty-free and ethically sourced everyday products more accessible and affordable. Harmless House cares about you, about the environment, and about everything that lives in it. Because of this, we represent, distribute and sell a range of personal and home care products that cause less harm to manufacture, less harm to use, and less harm to dispose of.
The products we use in our daily rituals have an enormous impact on the environment, its waterways and air, the people, animals and plants around us, and our own bodies. Harmless House recognizes this and is aware of the impact each product has before it reaches our homes. To this end, we represent and distribute personal care and home cleaning products, previously unavailable in South Africa, of the highest ethical standards. Harmless House has selected these brands because they are harmless to the earth (biodegradable and green), harmless to animals (cruelty free certified and vegan) and harmless to people (natural and organic), while still being of the highest quality.
Carbon Footprint:
Rest assured that all our products are coming to you in the most environmentally friendly manner realistically possible. All our imported products are brought in by sea (a significantly lower carbon footprint than airfreight) and we work closely with Food & Trees for Africa to set off our carbon footprint.
