We are based just outside the old Victorian suburb of Kensington Johannesburg.
Forty years ago when we began the restoration of our home built in 1929, we remained true to the cultural heritage of the area and repatriated all the elements including the beautifully impressioned steel pressed ceilings and Oregon floors, typical features of the homes of old suburbs of South Africa and the Victorian Cast iron fireplaces and ball and claw Victorian baths were signature items there.
Over the years, pieces that graced the homes of Cecil John Rhodes, Julius Jeppe and Barney Barnato have passed through our workshop.
Today we have a choice of Victorian Fireplaces all with their own unique patterns and tiles.
Our gallery and restoration workshop lie in the modest suburb of Fairview between the CBD and Kensington, where we lovingly craft handmade furniture from reclaimed wood and restore furniture, baths and fireplaces..
The Gallery itself bears the original façade of a Victorian semi-detached home.
Here, we lovingly house Victorian Fireplaces and Victorian Baths among our many Antiques.
