Antiques & Heritage of Europe was created by Marc Geothals in Brussels in 1980, specialising in antique regional furniture, mainly from France and Sweden. Whether a kitchen dresser from Bourgogne circa 1830 or cupboard from Bavaria circa 1780, Marc's passion for objects spanning the centuries, coupled with his keen sense of colour, texture and light, have always informed his ability to bring interiors to life.
In the 1990's he extended the portfolio to include re-editions of selected antique fruniture pieces, using the same woods. And later, he branched out into the design and manufacture of bespoke furniture, whether free-standing units or complete libraries, kitchens or bathrooms, both in classic or contemporary classic styles. Painted furniture, rustic and understated, is Marc's true love.
