San Marina originated from a small town in the south of France in 1981. Now there are over 265 stores in France and a further 75 abroad, including countries like Ukraine, China, Portugal and Australia. In 2000, San Marina was incorporated into the Vivarte Group, a leading multiple brand corporation.
The first South African Store opened in the V&A waterfront Cape Town in April 2000. This has now grown to ten stores around the country.
