Eve Levinsohn studied at the Ivor Kirsten Academy of Fashion where after she was immediately offered a position as head designer at the Edcon Group. She started off designing for Celrose the in-house manufacturing company for the then Edgars Group but went on to design for many of the other labels within the group such as Shelly Shops, Kelso, Merienne Hall, Penny C, Charter Club, Nite Out as well as Sales House and Jet Stores.
Thereafter, she progressed into the exciting world of merchandising and travelled the world buying samples and was part of a team in a department called "the design centre" which specialised in trend and colour forecasting.
Her love of eveningwear and bling prompted Eve to start her own business when she felt that she had achieved as much as she could with her current position. She went on her own and produced a range which she sold to boutiques such as Dodo's and Elle Boutique. Wedding gowns were a natural progression from this and Eve's Bridalwear was born.
