Firmly-rooted in the marble, granite, engineered and quartz stone industry, Marmernova's 45-year history includes a blanaced mix of innovative design, superior workmanship and professional delivery.
The family-run business was founded in 1966 by all-round innovator extraordinaire, Giovanni Agnoletto, (Alfa Romeo engineer and Rolux Lawnmower inventor)! Not satisfied with all this, he started a new company called Marmernova, reconstituting small rocks into blocks which where then cut and polished into the first ever engineered slabs manufactured in South Africa. (Hence the name " marmer" is Afrikaans for marble and "nova" for new).
Today, grandchildren Riccardo and Pierluigi Marino run Marmernova with the same creative flair, innovation and passion.
The Company
At Marmernova, we custom-design, manufacture and supply a whole range of stone products from floor & wall cladding including tiles and mosaics to custom designed furniture and ornaments, bar counters, vanities, kitchens, table tops, bath surrounds, basins, staircases and fireplaces.
Our raw materials are personally selected and purchased from over 42 countries across the globe. Select from a variety of marble, granite, travertine or engineered stone. Whether you prefer the natural orengineer-red look, there are over 420 colours to choose from, in a variety of finishes (polished, honed, acid-washed or natural). Come and select your own specific piece from our yard as marble, granite and travertine are natural products and no two blocks are ever alike!
