Truworths forms part of Truworths International, an investment holding company listed on the JSE, whose companies are engaged in the retailing of fashion apparel and accessories. The Truworths International Retail Group incorporates Identity, YDE and Uzzi.

INTERNATIONAL
Truworths International currently comprises Truworths Limited and the international franchise operations.
Truworths Limited is a leading South African retailer of fashion merchandise. The operation has developed a range of specialised retail formats including Truworths Woman, Truworths Man, Daniel Hechter, Inwear and LTD. Key to Truworths' success has been the development of stores as brands and brands as stores. Truworths has become the destination of choice for fashionable individuals in search of quality fashion that makes them look attractive and successful, and feel enthused with confidence.
RETAIL OPERATIONS
We strive to provide an enticing, exciting and visually appealing fashion retail environment where our customers can shop effortlessly, assisted by energetic, committed people. Being the source of our future buyers and planners, the merchant trainee programme is of immense strategic importance to our business and contributes directly to the success of our Merchandise Departments. As a result, a great deal of financial, human and physical resources have been made available to ensure its success.

Our cutting-edge training approach combines tailored on-the-job coaching and mentoring, formal training, HR support and ongoing progress assessment and career development.
HEAD OFFICE
Head Office is the hub of our business and is the main point of contact for the public, suppliers etc. To keep operations running smoothly and successfully, we employ only the best people across all areas of the business; people that complement our values and business philosophy.
GRADUATES TRAINEE PROGRAMME
The Graduate Trainee Programme equips interns with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience and grooms top candidates for merchandising positions within Truworths. The Programme ensures a succession strategy for the critical merchant planning and buying areas of the business.
STORE OPERATIONS
Our stores (over five hundred in South Africa and 23 franchise operations in Africa and the Middle East) are the face of our business and in order to maintain our reputation as the leading fashion retailer, we constantly strive to recruit high calibre, customer-oriented staff to serve as Truworths ambassadors. We are focused on developing staff, promoting from within wherever possible, and are committed to Employment Equity when recruiting both internally and externally.
TRUWORTHS DISTRIBUTION CENTRE
The Truworths Distribution Centre (TDC) is an essential link in the chain of putting merchandise into stores. With over five hundred stores in South Africa and 23 franchise operations in Africa and the Middle East, TDC ensures that merchandise received from manufacturers is efficiently distributed to all stores.
