ABOUT US
Established in 1986, Beautiful Structures is a South African owned and operated company, that manufactures and installs a large range of custom made bay windows, conservatories, gazebos and veranda roof structures.
These products are designed to add comfortable extra living space whilst being an attractive feature at the same time. Pre-fabrication allows a relatively fast installation time without the inconvenience normally associated with conventional building methods.
Alex Cremer of South African Garden and Home said "...All such structures can now be supplied and installed quickly and cost effectively by a Gauteng firm whose name says what it's all about: Beautiful Structures."
[South African Garden and Home, November 1998]
The patented bay window system is completely prefabricated and allows 1 day installation, using window frames of either steel, wood or aluminium of various types. These bay windows are custom made to the requirements of the individual client, and can enlarge most rooms by 20 - 40%
The conservatories are based on a Victorian English design but have been adapted to suit our hot summer climate. Roof glazing has been replaced with ceilings and insulation, ventilation is provided by clere story windows, which are opened in summer, and closed in winter. The design allows a well ventilated room in summer, and warmth in winter, when the windows are closed.
Gazebos, hexagonal or octagonal, add an attractive feature to any garden and can be finished with a variety of roofing materials. Veranda roof with posts and balustrades provide comfortable outdoor living space with protection from the sun and rain. Bay windows and gazebos can be provided in a kit form and are relatively simple to install or erect, this also allows us to provide our product to our clients outside the Gauteng area.
Beautiful Structures has a permanent display of gazebos, verandas and bay windows at Garden World Nursery, DF Malan Drive extension, Muldersdrift, where leaflets are always available.
Articles on Beautiful Structures and their work have appeared in several publications such as South African Garden and Home and South African Home Owner over the years.
