SERVICES
Cartons
All our cartons are manufactured from double wallboard cardboard, reinforcing the structure of the carton.
Crating
Our in-house crating division manufactures all of our crates to the highest standard. Crates are built to protect sensitive items such as servers, paintings, statues and glass tabletops. All crates are made to measure to ensure that they adequately protect and secure the item being crated.
Steel Trunks
Steel trunks are used for the safekeeping of valuables and high security items such as software storage disks and confidential documentation. Items to be packed into the trunk are numbered, packed and locked in the trunk for added protection.
Servers
All servers, UPS systems and other very delicate items of IT equipment are packed in acid-free white packing paper. They are then loaded into lockable, mobile computer cages and transported in dedicated vehicles, equipped with hydraulic tail-lifts for the softest possible ride. In cases where servers are fixed into computer racks, these racks are wrapped if so required, and transported as described above.
Furniture
Wherever necessary, modular items are dismantled and clearly marked for ease of reassembly. Screws or bolts are packed separately so that our crews can reassemble furniture easily and quickly. General furniture items are covered in fleece-lined blankets inside the vehicles and secured to eliminate any possible damage during transit. Workstations are moved complete, to ensure that set-up at the delivery point is as quick and efficient as possible.
Desktop Computers
Desktop computers are transported in the same way as the servers. Each part of the computer (monitor, case, keyboard, mouse, etc.) is clearly marked with self- adhesive, coloured labels and transported in dedicated computer cages.
