ABOUT US
The Solar Shop was established in 1980. The company has marketed and installed solar domestic panels, solar pool heating panels, pool covers, roll up stations and roof insulation. We pride ourselves on the quality and after sales service offered to our customers.
Pool heating panel (Solaroll)
Solaroll was introduced into South Africa over 27 years ago and we have been installing Solaroll pool panels for the past 25 years, with over 100,000 m squared installed countrywide.
Solaroll is locally manufactured and carries a five-year warranty. It is essentially a unique design comprising an E.P.D.M rubber extrusion and manifolding arrangement that gives great flexibility and simplicity of pipe work when designing large panel installations. The product is unaffected by Hail or freezing and has a life expectancy in excess of 20 years. It is an extremely durable product and can be altered, modified or repaired easily.
Solaroll is the only heating system recommended by the United States national bureau of standards.
Pool cover and roll up stations
We have been manufacturing pool covers and roll up stations for the past 25 years and had numerous large installations utilising our covers and roll up stations. We are able to tailor-make our covers to fit any size pool.

Pool Heating
The SolaRoll™ Pool Heating System does not warp, crack, rot, rust, corrode or chip. It's exclusive EPDM (ethylene propylene diene
monomer rubber) material is unaffected by ozone, heat or cold.
Installation
Installation can be carried out by us or DIY. No special skills or tools
are required to install the SolaRoll collecters yourself.
