Holtzhausen Clocks and Music Boxes was established in 1974 as Tick Tock Time in Johannesburg. Today this company still manufactures and trades globally in modern and antique clocks, grandfather clocks, music boxes and watches of the highest quality only. Herman Holtzhausen, son of founder Nic Holtzhausen, directs manufacturing, importing, exporting, marketing and after-sales.
Herman holds that the family business is their Southern Cross: "Our product evokes a sense of stillness, respect and celebration of life. These are the values we aim at for ourselves, our customers, their friends and all of our unborn descendants - generations into the future."
We're a Trade Associate and the SA Representative of the British Horological Institute; we're a member of the National Antiques and Decorative Arts Association; we support Antiques are Green in our antique trading.
