Five reasons to choose Genessi
Support: The layering of different luxury foams in your Genessi bed ensures proper posture, maintaining your spine’s natural alignment. The foam will support each individual person’s weight.
No Pressure: Physical comfort is nothing more than the absence of pressure points – something foam helps to achieve. Its characteristic ability to contour and conform to any irregular shape (in this case, the human body) is unsurpassed. Speciality foam enhances this characteristic even more.
Durability: The durability of your Genessi bed is determined by the unique combination of high density and speciality foams, resulting in a durable sleeping surface.
Non–disturbance: Support should be independent. Foam doesn’t have a rigid, connected structure, and so reacts only to the immediate area of applied pressure or weight. The result is disturbance-free sleep.
Hygienic: Your Genessi bed foam layers have been treated with Vita- Premium Protection (Nano-Technology), and will protect you against mosquitoes, dust mites, bedbugs and bacteria. Over and above this, foam is non-allergenic, and has an open cell structure with breathable properties. Air and moisture freely flows through foam mattresses.
There’s more to foam
Genessi speciality foam mattresses integrate technology with advanced foams to create a robust yet yielding and breathable structure. This structure perfectly adapts to individual body shapes, providing high levels of comfort and support.
Foam has become such a widely-used material because it provides such a unique combination of form and function.
Foam can also be adapted to provide very supple or very firm cushioning for any given application.
In short, Memory Foam and Poly-Latex have transformed the way we think about mattresses. For instance, in France, over 70% of people don’t sleep any other way.
Speciality Foam
Good Memory
Many experts recommend viscous-elastic (Memory Foam) mattresses for improved rest, and relief from complaints like back pain.
So what’s the secret?
The foam itself is a remarkable scientific development, created during the US space programme in the 1970s. The aim was to find something to counter the rapid acceleration and deceleration experienced by astronauts. But it’s only recently that this technology has become affordable enough for all or us.
Memory Foam is made of open cells – imagine billions of tiny balloons. A small hole in each ‘balloon’ allows air to escape under pressure. So, as your body rests on the foam, the air is dispersed to adjoining cells – allowing the mattress to effectively ‘melt’ around you. Excellent support is provided at pressure points along the shoulder blades, buttocks, head, heels, hips and elbows. Memory Foam (Viscous-Elastic) is a pressure-sensitive foam, offering you the best chance for reducing the overall pressure placed on your pressure points. It contours around them, without, without pushing back against them. Memory Foam gradually adjusts to your unique body shape.
In turn, this alleviates stress on the skeleton and muscles, reducing numbness, stiffness and pain. Your need to turn during the night, in search of a more comfortable position, is also reduced by up to 80%. This results in a deeper, more satisfying sleep.
Poly-Latex
Poly-Latex has an even higher elasticity, or resilience, than Memory Foam. (The result is that Poly-Latex will feel more springy and Memory Foam more solid.)
The unequalled natural and point elasticity provides excellent conformity qualities, while the core material adapts to the body contours. Your spinal column is thus perfectly straight when you’re lying on your side, and remains in the natural double S-line when you’re lying on your back.
Poly-Latex provides a sleeping surface with even distribution of pressure that is both comfortable and durable.
