Orejen started as a result of not being able to find windows and doors for our own home. We could find 2nd hand windows but - they were the wrong size, they were old, they needed restoring, they had no hardware - they were just plain wrong.
We made our first window ourselves and had an AHAAA moment when we realised that there had to be other home owners who also wanted windows and doors to match. The windows in my home were made in England in those days. They were hand made with love and it shows. Our new Orejen windows are made in the same way - with loads of love. A passion to get the windows and doors to match. Although we use re-cycled timber only - we do a fine job of making the windows appear to be authentic.
Ore-Jen is pronounced ORA-JEN. The Ore from the timber that we use in our manufacture process and The Jen from my name Jennifer.
There are so many aspects to our shop and we have tried to show as many details on this web page. First prize would be to spend some time in the shop. Feel free to browse and then come and visit.
