ABOUT US
Varsity College was founded 20 years ago and today enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private tertiary education in South Africa. We have campuses in Sandton, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban North, Westville, Pietermaritzburg and Midrand.
 Varsity College offers tuition support for a variety of higher education degrees, diplomas and certificates. These include our own IIE qualification and also those of external providers including UNISA, IMM (GSM) and the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM). Varsity College is an educational brand of The IIE, the largest, most accredited private education provider in the country, and the institution responsible for all things academic at Varsity College.
Perhaps the most important consideration when deciding where to study, is academic track record. A high pass rate, a good percentage of distinctions and a low drop-out rate are all good indicators of quality education.
At Varsity College our current national average pass rate is 74% with 20% of those who pass achieving distinctions. Our drop-out rate is less than 10%. Impressive when you consider that the national average for all higher education institutions is over 30%.
We’re proud of these outstanding levels of academic excellence. But we also believe that academia should be balanced with a healthy sport and social life. In short, we believe our purpose is to guide students in acquiring the skills necessary for life, not just the workplace.
