Who We Are
 Cogs Freeman - Headmistress and co-owner
Buckets & Books is headed up by Corrinne Freeman, affectionately known as "Cogs"
Cogs' academic qualifications are a BA degree, with majors in English and Drama, from the University of Natal Pietermaritzburg, and a PGCE in Early Childhood Development from UNISA.
Her qualifications are supported by 20 years teaching experience. She began with her own school in Douglasdale in 1996, called Bushbabies which she ran for 13 years. Cogs is a very accomplished lady and moved on to develop the curriculum for a leading pre-school franchise and in the same time period wrote the life skills portion of the syllabus for a NGO (Créche on Wheels) which caters for education into the underprivileged communities of Gauteng.
She then taught at the Head Office branch of Jungle Tots followed by 5 years at Heronbridge College, 3 years as grade head of the 00 group.
Cogs has a passion to help children reach their full potential and to instil in them a love of learning.
