Since opening in 1999, Cliffview Pines has been a well patronised nursery school. Our large garden and caring staff has contributed to the group of happy children we have today.
Cliffview Pines is situated in a tranquil environment where early learning and development of children between the age of 2 and 6 is offered catered for individual needs and learning styles.
Children are cared for in a friendly and supportive environment where we strive to instill a love for school and learning through exploration and having fun.
Our devoted teachers follow a perceptual programe in the younger groups. The Grade 0 focusses on developing and extending perceptual skills as well as introducing pre-reading, pre-arithmatic and pre-writing skills. Our Grade 0 class is taught by a qualified and experienced teacher who thoroughly prepares them for "Big School". All Grade 0 childeren will be comprehensively assessed for school readiness.
Our language medium is English yet we encourage and welcome other nationalities and languages.
We offer full day, half day and an after care section. Our hours are from 6.30am to 5.30pm (full day) and from 6.30am to 1pm (Half Day) daily through out the year. We only close during December for the festive season.
Breakfast, and a hot meal is provided at lunchtimes. An afternoon snack is also provided which is usually fresh fruit. We aim to provide a balanced diet for our children.
