 We started the school for children with different needs in 2006.
Wings for Life caters for children with autism.
The school started with 1 special needs child. Today it provides special needs education for 41 children with many on a waiting list.
We have six classes, two pre‐school classes (Care Bears) and four primary school classes. There are 6 – 7 children in a classroom with a teacher and an assistant in every class. We are busy planning for a seventh class to start soon.
We help the children by focusing on their emotional needs, social skills, life skills and cognitive skills.
We work out an individual educational plan for each learner, this is especially important for children with autism.
Teamwork is important to us. We recognise the value of working with the parents and the therapists. We use the Hungarian Basic Development Program for daily exercise.
