Antoinette’s Cookery School is situated in the quaint area of Lyttelton Manor. The Cookery School is a fully-equipped group training facility, an ideal location for a hands-on experience. After an out-of-the-ordinary learning experience, participants can relax, sit back and enjoy their own culinary creations at the al-fresco table in the thatched entertainment area.
Since 2005 Antoinette’s Cookery School has been presenting classes daily, weekly and monthly, where passion and enjoying food are the main events of the classes. All classes at Antoinette’s Cookery School are hands-on, where every participant prepares and cooks his/her own dishes, is entertained and inspired to experience his/her home kitchen as a playground and not a war zone.
The courses presented at Antoinette’s Cookery School are accessible to anyone who has a passion for food and cooking, or who just wants to improve some kitchen skills.
Antoinette’s Cookery School was founded by the owner and Chef, Antoinette Coetzer. Antoinette is a young and innovate chef who combines a thorough classical understanding of ingredients and techniques with modern trends.
Antoinette’s lifetime dream has been to have her own cookery school. Being a qualified Chef with a B-Comm degree in Hotel and Tourism Management, combined with a teaching degree, Antoinette’s Cookery School was established in June 2005.
During 2006 Antoinette’s sister, Wilna, joined Antoinette’s Cookery School. Together they are a first-class management team. Wilna comes from a corporate background and has brought her flair for business to the establishment.
Part of the team is Joey, our right hand “woman”. Joey has come a long way from being the Kitchen Manager at Café Antoinette’s, to being a true asset, colleague and Commis Chef at Antoinette’s Cookery School.
