Digby Hoets is an pottery artist and has been teaching pottery and making his own pots since 1973.

Many South African potters and ceramists have started their careers in his studio and continue to work there. Digby's home and studio are located on a 2 hectare property in Midrand's Carlswald valley - a tranquil, green enclave within an area which is now better known for high density housing developments, office blocks and shopping centres.
