My name is June Thiel, owner/founder of the Inktrail Studio. After many years of teaching calligraphy and also importing and retailing calligraphic supplies and books, the Inktrail Studio has changed its direction: I am now happy to concentrate instead on providing clients with the best of calligraphy, lettering and design.
Traditional calligraphic hands as well as modern fonts and several self-designed fonts form part of my repertoire, frequently including modern and traditional gilding and illumination techniques.
My local & international clientele includes corporates, private individuals, event planners and interior designers.
My strongest suit is the ability to successfully interpret and depict mood and atmosphere on paper, often without ever meeting my client in person. Work is currently offered in English, Afrikaans and German.
