Labora Shoes is a proudly South African family-run shoe manufacturing business based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Founded by Johnny Parboo in 1988, the decision to start his own footwear range was a brave risk. Using his extensive experience in this industry and well supported by family, Labora Shoes serviced small independent retailers in those early days. The business has grown rapidly from 1990 with a production run of 100 pairs of shoes per day until today where the factory now produces more than 40 000 pairs of shoes per month.
