ABOUT US
Being inspired by the greatness of African wildlife Nylstroom Taxidermy was found in 1994. It all started in a small single room studio to more than 2000m² working area today.
We are situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa about two hours north of Johannesburg in the town called Modimolle (new name for Nylstroom). Nevertheless we receive hunting trophies from all parts of South Africa.Our staff are well qualified and artists in their own right, from the skinning of trophies, fleshing, mould making to the final finishing touches all are devoted to give their best to satisfy the client.
At Nylstroom Taxidermy we strive to be updated with the latest and best-approved techniques in the industry, we are a member of the Taxidermy Association of Southern Africa and compete in their annual trophy competitions as well as attending their convention where professionals in the industry like suppliers and international taxidermists and judges hold seminars. We are appointed as a senior judge of TASA since 2003 after successfully passed our junior judge trail of three years.
