The Swiss Country ClubJohannesburg, as it is now known since the refurbishment in 2008, is situated in 31 Moerdyk Street, Vorna Valley, Midrand. As every Swiss Club around the World, it is designed to cater for South African Swiss and ex pats to be able to enjoy and follow some of their traditions outside their native Country. The Swiss Country Club Johannesburg, under the current Chairmanship of Mario Valli however boasts its own Restaurant (click on “The Courier” tab above) with an extensive variety of menus as well as a “low budget” Conference Facility and big Screen TV facilities. They also have 2 genuine Swiss Skittling Alleys (similar to 10 Pin Bowling) which are in high demand by members as well as non members playing regular league and social games throughout the year. The Swiss Country Club JHB is open to the public Tuesdays to Sundays, so come and visit this beautiful venue for a Lunch/Dinner or a Sundowner with incredible views into JHB.
