At Luvies Bakery we specialise in novelty cakes, wedding cakes, pastries and finger delights. The kitchen is run by pastry chef Melanie Pillay, who brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT MELANIE PILLAY
Luvies Bakery was started in 2011 by Pastry Chef Melanie Pillay. Melanie's culinary expertise has earned her enormous respect through her work in the industry over the last 5 years. After completing a humanities degree at Wits University, Melanie entered the renowned Prue Leith Chef's Academy to realise her passion for cooking and baking. At Prue Leith Melanie had the opportunity to work with the renowned Chef Rudi Liebenberg and others. On completion of her chef's course, Melanie received an award for being the top pastry chef in the academy.
