About US
We are situated off Beyers Naude drive, in Muldersdrift JHB, near the Cradle of Humankind.
Kellow Park Warmblood Horse Stud has grown into South Africa's leading livery yard, breeding stud and riding school. Almost 20 years have passed from our humble beginnings, with just a few stables and horses, to a massive operation housing over 140 horses.
Literally thousands of riders have learned to ride at Kellow Park. Many of these have graduated onto owing their own horses, and many of these have progressed into competition in showjumping and dressage, very successfully.
Although the emphasis is on the overall riding experience, we are one of the few riding yards to have produced riders from our riding school to open showjumping, as well as horses from unbacked to high levels of competition.
The stabling facilities are superb, with lots of wide open spaces, lovely large stables, large group or individual paddocks, awesome outrides and the best care of horses! There are 4 arenas, 2 full size dressage arenas and 2 jumping arenas, where the focus on correct going has contributed to sounder horses.
The trainers are experienced professionals and we offer some of the best riding tuition available. We are experienced at sourcing suitable high quality horses for our clients and our riding school. The school horses are well trained and always in top condition. Our safety record is second to none.
We offer lots of fantastic discounts to clients, and as we are a full service yard, everything is taken care of. From show entries and trucking to shows, to having vets on call 24 hours a day, and farrier on call too, all you have to worry about is riding your horse.
Our stud utilises the best blood in the world for jumping and dressage and the young stock we are producing is of a premium quality. We also take in horse for sale and only sell quality, sound horses.
Stud
At Kellow Park Warmblood Horse Stud we are breeding premium quality sporthorses for Showjumping, Dressage and Eventing. We have accumulated a number of top quality mares over the years - selected for quality, ability, rideability and pedigree - not just good bloodlines but well related to top competition horses.
Every year we have between 6 and 10 foals, which are purpose bred for Jumping or dressage. We use mostly imported semen from top European stallions. Horses are available for sale from foals to 5 year olds.
