Sentient Archery specializes in Recurve Archery. We offer a broad range of services including Training & Coaching, Equipment Sales, Equipment support, Range/Club Management, Corporate Events, Group Events, Team Building, School Programs and more.
Intro Lessons
The Intro lesson is a once-off introduction to the sport of archery. It is geared for absolute beginners and novices new to our training system. Participants will be taught the basics regarding safety, etiquette and of course shooting-technique. We use very basic and easy to use recurve/olympic-style training equipment. The use of our equipment is included in the price. The time allocated will allow for plenty of arrows to be shot.
Beginner Classes
Our beginner classes are conducted by qualified coaches in accordance with the FITA Beginners course. Otherwise known as the Feathers & Arrows Course or LTDP. The classes will cover all of the styles of shooting from instinctive shooting to olympic recurve and will be conducted at distance up to 26 meters.
Private Sessions
Everything we offer in our training system is available in the form of private sessions. An Intro Lesson must be completed before continueing with private sessons.
Specialised Classes
Archers must complete the beginner program (level 1 & 2) before entering any of the specialised classes.
In the specialised classes archers look to further their ability in a specific style, however, archers are not limited to how many styles they can undertake. We accomodate several styles within 3 class formats. These class formats are as follows:
