ABOUT US
Dr Joseph J Huskisson has been practising medicine at Stellenbosch Square since the inception of his private practice in 2006.
His interest in aesthetics happened by accident when he joined a friend on a Botox course and found himself hooked immediately. At home he enjoys painting, specifically with acrylics; moulding shapes and creating contours.
His newest interest is Liquid Facelifts where more enduring fillers are used to lift and improve sagging of the face, contour profiles, create shadows and highlights, and delicately adjust the shape of the face.
Other dermatological options available are:
- the popular Dermaroller,
- ALA & PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy for skin damaged by sun exposure),
- IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for rejuvenation and unwanted hair removal,
- Mesotherapy,
- NeoStrata and Lamelle chemical peels and
- Beauty treatments (facials, manicures, etc.).
The practice has two in-house Health and Skin Care Therapists who oversee all skin and body care treatments.
Dr Huskisson also travels to Houtbay, Hermanus and Johannesburg once a month to treat his aesthetic clients.
