Georen Pharmaceuticals (Pty) Ltd is a South African company and was founded in May 1998 by George Koukaras (Dip Pharm), a Manufacturing and Retail Pharmacist, and Francois du Toit (Dip Law; B Proc; LLB; GMC), who has extensive experience in Corporate Law, Finance and Marketing. Tragically, George Koukaras passed away in a motor vehicle accident in 2001.
The team was, however, strengthened by Renee Koukaras-du Toit, a Senior Banker and a highly successful Marketer, joining the company and leading the sales team.
The main business of Georen Pharmaceuticals is to research, design, develop, manufacture, market and distribute innovative pharmaceutical products of excellent quality and to ensure that its products are sold at affordable prices.
Georen Pharmaceuticals prides itself in manufacturing products only in approved Medicine Control Council (MCC) factories, wherein Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to. It also specifies that its products must contain ingredients of the highest quality. All its products are lactose, sucrose, gluten and tartrazine free. In addition, it constantly strives to make sure that its brands are Happy to be Healthy Brands!
