Kid’s Traffic-land is a unique and fun way for children to learn the rules of the road, by getting into battery operated cars or bikes and driving on make-believe roads with traffic signs and robots.
Dressed up police officers are present to guide the children along the roads and teach them the basic operation of the vehicles and what to do at what signs.
It was born in 2008 on a mobile birthday party basis. Gauging from its popularity with the kids and the positive response from the parents we have now found our own premises in Balfour Park Shopping Centre.
Being an upwardly mobile kid citizen in Traffic-land is truly and fundamentally an educational experience for the child in many different ways. Kids love to simulate and Kid’s Traffic-land is an outstanding venue for them to simulate their parents day to day activities which incorporate social cooperation such as observing the rules of the road and being stuck in traffic.
It all begins with child being issued a driver’s license when they have completed a round on the road successfully, which they have to keep safe as not only will they not be able to drive without it, but it can be loaded with money which will be redeemed for rides whenever they visit Traffic-land.

SERVICES
We Issue a driver’s license for battery operated vehicles to the kids which will be valid for 2 years.
We offer the opportunity to drive battery operated vehicles in a mini-city called Traffic-land
We offer a waiting area for parents, with refreshments such as (tea, coffee, cold drinks, cake, crisps and sweets.)
We cater for Birthday parties, Corporate functions, Family fun days, Year end functions and much more.
We offer educational road safety and traffic awareness Field Trips for Schools.
WALK IN
R50 for Registration and Driver’s License + 2 free rides, thereafter rides are:
R30 for 15 minutes.
R50 for 30 minutes.
R90 for 60 minutes.
These can be loaded on to the Driver’s License and redeemed as required.
PARTY VENUE
An hour and a half Birthday party with 10 kids it is R1500 and for 20 kids costs R2000 (including chips, popcorn and juice + tea/coffee for up to 8 parents). You can request catering from our suppliers at an extra fee or cater for the party yourself. Early booking is essential.
MOBILE PARTIES
we can travel to your venue of choice and set up a mini trafficland for 2 hours for an unlimited number of kids at a cost of R2200. Important requirements are; an area of +/- 8m x 8m flat and hard surface (paving, tar or concrete) no inclines. For a grass surface the cost is R2800. Early booking is essential.
CORPORATE FUNCTIONS
we can travel to your venue of choice and set up a mini trafficland for an unlimited number of kids at a cost of R2500 per 2 hours up to 6 hours. Important requirements are: an area of +/- 8m x 8m flat and hard surface (paving, tar or concrete) no inclines. Early booking is essential.
SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS
The field trip is a hour and 30 minutes at our venue (snack pack optional) or 2 hours if we travel to the school (snack pack excluded).
The cost is R1850 for up to 30 kids at the venue or R2200 at the school. Must be booked during the week between 9am and 1pm. 15 minutes of theory on arrival
