ABOUT US
The Room is a family run concern offering our customers versatile high quality furniture that is not only practical but also affordable. The inspiration for our range arose from a need to source furniture for our growing family. Francois has over 15 years of wood working experience and together we are committed to offering furniture that is adaptable, functional and not only limited to children’s rooms.

Our products are hand painted
Nicks and scratches are easily repaired in case of damage
We manufacture primarliy using MDF board (supawood) in varying thicknesses as well as pre-treated pine for the base slats of our beds
All paint used is of high quality and lead free
Most of our range is delivered pre-assembled for your convenience; the exceptions are our beds, bunk beds, wardrobe and display cabinet with drawers which are partially assembled
Assembly is a relatively simple colour coded process which is easy to follow
Handles and knobs can be changed on request at an additional charge; if handles or knobs are provided by the client there will be no additional charge
All furniture pieces (bookcases, cubes etc) are supplied with the necessary plugs, screws and mounting plates for wall mounting
Deliveries nationally are arranged with ease and subject to quotation
We manufacture to order:
Allow between 5 and 6 weeks between October and April
Allow up to 6 weeks between May and September (wet winters)
