Mpho – Noun (Seshoto) Meaning: Gift
As moms we see our children and families as gifts. Inspired by them we have created and sourced products that have been designed with parents, babies and toddlers in mind. Products that are affordable and no fuss, to help you along the adventurous road of parenthood.
This company started with a gift, when my daughter was one month old her cousin’s birthday was fast approaching, not having the energy (or the courage) to go out to a shopping mall in the cold winter air with my tiny baby, I made her a large, plush rhino using some shwe shwe that I had at home. The cuddly rhino pillow was a hit and, as the day wore on, I received many requests for more, I realised that this rhino was a way of creating awareness and raising money against rhino poaching, that is how our flagship product was born.
We donate R10 of the profits of every rhino sold to the Endangered Wildlife Trust to help aid the plight of the rhinos.
