ABOUT US
The Rottweiler Working and Breeding Association (RWBA) was formed in 1972 in Sandton by Dudley and Pam Bennet. The first obedience training classes started on the grounds of Santon's Fire Station. In 1976 the training venue was relocated to Ernest Ullman Park in Santon. Lots of new members joined and soon there was a need for more training classes. The club expanded to such an extent that is was affiliated to KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa).
We held our first Open Show in 1976 and a year later our Open Qualifying Shows ever. We invited an overseas judge for our first Championship Show and everyone that could have entered and attended this show did. In the early 1980s we relocated to the Epol grounds in Midrand, where training took place for many years. The club expanded further and we held most of our Champion shows at the Epol show grounds. When that property was sold for development we moved to the Chloorkop Primary School and later to midrand Training Institute, Our current training centre.
