 Venessa is a compassionate and insightful therapist with experience in diagnosing and counselling emotional, interpersonal, personality, adjustment, trauma, abuse, co-dependency, addiction and disability conditions. Skilled in dealing with both routine and complex cases such as mood, personality and dissociative disorders. She has additional training in neurotherapy, play therapy, EMDR and Imago couples therapy.
Venessa offers client-centred psychotherapy and assessment with adults, children, adolescents and families. In addition, she provides play therapy for children encountering emotional and adjustment difficulties, female mental health and wellness programs, and, clinical diagnosis and treatment for psychiatric conditions.
Venessa holds B.PrimEd(Wits), B.A.(Hons)(Psych)(Unisa), M.A.(Clinical & Counselling Psych)(Columbia, NY) degrees.
