 Since 1976 the Centre has changed beyond all recognition. From being a large community centre in bygone days, Cresta has emerged into a regional shopping destination, currently boasting a GLA of approx. 94 000 m².
Cresta’s sprawling, elegant malls are embraced within 3 levels – each one offering a delectably indulgent variety of state of the art merchandise, services and entertainment. Cresta centre is located in the heart of the affluent residential nodes between Sandton to the Northeast, Randburg to the Northwest and the Johannesburg CBD to the South.
In its mission to be proactive and market driven, this feisty 35-year old ‘grand dame’ of shopping centre culture, has sustained ‘her’ prominence and survival in an environment that has seen the proliferation of other retail developments in its immediate catchment area, as well as the oversupply of retail in the Northern areas of Johannesburg.
